Lydia Brownfield,Peter Case and Shut Up And Listen.

**Lydia Brownfield was a frequent face in 99X magazine in Atlanta in the 90's, and is still found amongst the articles of Atlanta InTown Magazine!**

It's wierd how things work sometimes. Lyd had a call hit late Monday night from Daerdre at Brothers Drake Meadery, asking for confirmation from Lyd that she was playing a show next week on Wednesday. Puzzled, Lyd checked her calendar and said she knew nothing of it, but would gladly play anyway. As it turns out, there is a local film maker who has produced a movie about the travels and music of the great songwriter Peter Case. We found that out after we looked up the show Lyd was asked to play.

**Lyd rocking out a full house TWICE at Eddie's Attic this past April.**

Funny thing is, Lydia and Peter were '90's "Cabbage Town Heroes" in the Atlanta music scene, having played a number of shows together at venues like Eddie's Attic. She'll be sharing the event with another amazing local songwriter, Eric Nassau. Here's the write up from The Other Paper's event calendar..

Columbus premiere of TROUBADOUR BLUES
Wednesday, Dec 7 8:00p to Thursday, Dec 8 12:00a
at Brothers Drake Meadery, Columbus, OH
TROUBADOUR BLUES is a 90-minute documentary about America's most well-traveled musicians, the singer-songwriters like Peter Case, Mary Gauthier and Chris Smither who crisscross the country performing at clubs, festivals and house concerts. With live music by two of Columbus's best singer-songwriters, Lydia Brownfield and Eric Nassau (pictured below).

The show and film screening will go down at our fave place, Brothers Drake Meadery. That's a great lead-in to THIS WEEK! Tomorrow night, again at Brothers Drake Meadery is the next installment of "Shut Up And Listen" and this one is going to be amazing. Chicago based pianist Michele DeWilton will be on hand to blow your mind and debut her new Holiday CD, "Snow Angel." Also on hand will be local recording studio man and songwriter Mister Steve Louis! Be sure to get there by 8pm, the last show was standing room only.
